Sabrina Carpenter gave her signature short ‘n sweet aesthetic a dancing queen-coded twist as she joined the star-studded cameos in Madonna’s CONFESSIONS II – The Film video. In the upcoming album’s visual musical accompaniment, which was released on June 8, Carpenter ditched her pants in a semi-sheer black lace bodysuit as she channeled her inner disco bombshell.
The “Espresso” swapped out her go-to pin-up aesthetic for discotheque glamour as she headed to the dance floor in a snippet from the nearly 14-minutes-long clip, which also included appearances from Julia Garner, Kate Moss, Benedict Cumberbatch, Odessa A’zion, Debi Mazar, and Madonna’s eldest daughter Lourdes Leon.

As she performed part of their song collaboration “Bring Your Love,” Carpenter appeared to nod to Madonna’s early ‘80s club days at iconic nightlife hotspots like the now-defunct Danceteria (also the name of a track on the “Vogue” singer’s new album).

The “Please Please Please” singer could be seen shimmying and sliding on the ground in a bodycon black bodysuit that featured a plunging scoop neckline and elbow-length sleeves. The cheeky one-piece exposed some extra skin with a sheer lace material, which she layered with a black bra underneath.

Carpenter paid homage to Madonna’s aesthetic by adding a pair of wrist-length black lace gloves and a skinny black belt that cinched at her waist. She styled her platinum blonde hair in a bouncy bombshell blowout with her curtain bangs parted in the middle, revealing a pair of dazzling chandelier-style crystal earrings. The “Manchild” star finished off her look with a deep burgundy hue on her eyelids, cheekbones, and lips.
The Grammy Award-winning singer’s latest cameo comes after she surprised fans by inviting Madonna on stage during her Coachella headliner performance. Just a few days ago, the 67 year old was back on stage to promote her upcoming album during an unexpected concert in New York City’s Times Square.
Madonna performed several new songs as she danced in a bright blue bra paired with a baby pink waist corset and matching pastel pink lace bloomer shorts. Silver metallic lace-up boots, sheer leg and arm warmers, and pink fishnet tights finished off the “Material Girl” singer’s look.
