Xiaomi took the wraps off its Redmi Note 15 Pro series in India today. The series comprises of two smartphones – Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G boasting of a 200MasterPixel camera system. Announcing the new series, the company said that the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G Series “is engineered to withstand everyday challenges, from long workdays and commutes to travel and outdoor use, while delivering a smooth, intelligent, and premium smartphone experience.” Both Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G will be available in multiple variants, with introductory launch offers applicable during the launch period. Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G price and availability

Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G will be available in Coffee Mocha, Mirage Blue, and Carbon Black, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G will be available in Silver Ash, Mirage Blue, and Carbon Black. The devices will go on sale starting February 4, 2026 via Amazon, Xiaomi India’s official website and authorized retail stores across the country.The company has also announced launch offers on Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G. Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G: Features

Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G series is equipped with a 200MP rear camera system, featuring the global debut of the 200MP HPE image sensor. The camera uses a 1/1.4-inch sensor with an f/1.65 aperture and supports up to 4x in-sensor zoom. Camera features also include Dynamic Shots 2.0, portrait algorithms, and built-in tools for editing and sharing content directly to apps such as Instagram and WhatsApp. AI-based tools like AI Remove Reflection and AI Beautify are included for post-processing.

In terms of battery, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G packs a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery with support for 100W wired fast charging and 22.5W reverse charging. The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G comes with a slightly larger 6,580mAh silicon-carbon battery and supports 45W fast charging. Xiaomi states that both devices ship with chargers in the box and are designed to retain at least 80 percent battery capacity after 1,600 charging cycles.Both models are built using Xiaomi’s Redmi Titan durability framework and carry SGS Premium Performance Certification. The phones feature reinforced internal structures and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. Xiaomi says the devices are tested for drop resistance from heights of up to 2.5 meters.The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G also come with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. According to the company, the phones can withstand water immersion up to two meters for 24 hours. The devices also include HydroTouch 2.0 for touch responsiveness when the screen is wet.On the performance side, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and features Xiaomi’s IceLoop cooling system. The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor. Both models support Google Gemini and Circle to Search, while the Pro+ variant includes Xiaomi HyperAI features.The series introduces Xiaomi Offline Communication, which enables voice communication over long distances without cellular coverage. Connectivity features on the Pro+ model also include the Xiaomi Surge T1S tuner for improved signal stability.Both smartphones feature a 6.83-inch near-borderless display with up to 3,200 nits peak brightness, high-frequency PWM dimming, and TÜV certifications. Audio output is supported by a volume boost feature aimed at improving sound levels for media playback and calls.
