Poco has officially confirmed the launch date of the Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max. The lineup will debut globally on March 17th. There’s also a special Poco X8 Pro Iron Man Edition, whose renders were leaked last month, revealing the complete design. This specific model should please the fans of this Marvel character.

The recent teaser image revealed the complete design. The Poco X8 series has dual cameras on the back and an LED flash. The power button seems to have dual-color accents. We can see the phones in black and white shades. Another teaser confirmed MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra and Dimensity 9500s.
There are reports that the Poco X8 Pro could be a rebrand of the REDMI Turbo 5, but with a smaller 6,500mAh battery. For comparison, the REDMI Turbo 5 China model rocks a bigger 7,560mAh battery with 100W fast charging. Meanwhile, the Poco X8 Pro Max could be a rebrand of the REDMI Turbo 5 Max with an 8,500mAh battery, instead of a 9,000mAh cell.
As for the other specifications, the Poco X8 Pro could feature a 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. It could arrive with up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage options. The Poco X8 Pro will boot HyperOS based on Android 15/16 OS. The Iron Man Edition will get exclusive aesthetics, like custom icons, animations, and wallpapers.
As for photography, the phone may also offer a 50MP primary with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide lens. It may have a 32MP camera on the front for selfies. Other notable features include dual stereo speakers with Hi-Res audio, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and possibly an IP rating for durability.
On the other hand, the Poco X8 Pro Max may arrive with 100W fast charging, an AMOLED display, and a 50MP main camera with OIS. Xiaomi’s Poco brand is known to aggressively price its flagships and mid-range phones. It may also follow a similar approach for its upcoming phones as well.
