Poco has confirmed that its upcoming Poco X8 Pro lineup will be launched in India on March 17, 2026, introducing the Poco X8 Pro and Poco X8 Pro Max. The announcement has already generated a lot of excitement among smartphone buyers looking for a massive battery and a smooth display. Furthermore, reliable reports suggest that the X8 Pro Max may feature a large 9,000 mAh battery and a 120 Hz display.

Everything to know about the Poco X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max

The Poco X8 Pro series is expected to arrive with hardware focused on performance and battery backup. Both the X8 Pro and X8 Pro Max feature a 1.5K flat OLED panel with a smooth, 120 Hz refresh rate. The X8 Pro will reportedly come with a 6.59-inch display, and the X8 Pro Max with a larger, 6.83-inch screen.

As reported by @Gadgetsdata on X, both devices in this lineup are expected to feature a strong metal frame and an IP69 rating for protection against dust and water exposure. The models also differ in terms of performance. The Poco X8 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 8500 processor, and the X8 Pro Max will boast the more powerful Dimensity 9500s chipset. Both phones will reportedly have UFS 4.1 storage for fast data transfer.

For those interested in mobile photography, both devices will reportedly feature a 50 MP Sony main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide sensor. However, the X8 Pro Max is expected to come with a Light Fusion 600 sensor, which helps in taking better low-light shots. Furthermore, both devices will reportedly boast a 20 MP front camera for video calls and social media photos.

Battery capacity is arguably the biggest highlight of the X8 Pro lineup. Both phones will reportedly support extremely fast 100W wired charging, with reverse charging up to 27W.

The official pricing for the X8 Pro series has not been announced yet. That said, as per @Gadgetsdata’s report, the X8 Pro is expected to launch at under 30,000 rupees, and the X8 Pro Max at under 40,000 rupees.
