‘Peddi Will Become Major Pillar Of Support For Industry’

The IPL final took place yesterday, but the atmosphere at Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Peddi pre-release event in Vijayawada felt no different. With a massive sea of fans flooding the venue, the event resembled a grand IPL final, showcasing the unparalleled craze surrounding Peddi.

Jagapathi Babu who played a crucial role in the movie revealed his connection with Vijayawada city. “Just as it is a fact that I was born in Vijayawada city, it is equally certain that Peddi will become a major pillar of support for the industry- distributors, exhibitors, and all of us artists. This is a film that is destined to reach another level altogether. It is a film that will satisfy everyone’s hunger and thirst for great cinema.

It has been nearly eight years since I got such a powerful character. After Aravinda Sametha, Peddi is that film for me. I don’t know how Buchi Babu envisioned me as Appalasuri, but I am confident this will become one of the best films of my career. I once had a discussion with Megastar Chiranjeevi, and told him that Charan succeeded as a human being. I have immense affection and admiration for Charan. Buchi Babu may appear small and simple on the outside, but the intelligence and talent he possesses are unbelievable and limitless.”
