Odessa A’zion’s DIY Glam Stuns at 2026 Met Gala

Posted on

At the 2026 Met Gala, actress Odessa A’zion made waves with her unique choice to style herself, opting for a DIY approach to hair and makeup. Speaking to People, A’zion explained, “I just have a problem with too many people touching me at once. I don’t like it. And I also just am so specific.” For her debut at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, she flaunted a minimalistic makeup look, enhanced with delicate jewels on her face, and styled her hair with thick curls using extensions.

“They chopped my hair off for a movie, so it’s extensions,” she said, lamenting her current shoulder-length hair. Paired with her self-styled beauty was a bold Valentino outfit, showcasing blue and pink bedazzled leafy cut-outs, a black corset, and a long trailing jacket, complemented by Pandora jewelry, tights, and black thigh-high boots.

Sharing her candid thoughts on the night’s experience, A’zion remarked, “I think the best part will be when we can all relax and I can take it off, ’cause I’m a little bit– I can’t breathe that much right now,” humorously referring to her corset. The gala, co-chaired by Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour, celebrated the theme ‘Fashion Is Art,’ drawing inspiration from the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s ‘Costume Art’ exhibition. Other stars like Blake Lively, Sabrina Carpenter, and Margot Robbie were also in attendance.
