RTX Mega Geometry Foliage System coming to Witcher 4

For dense and highly detailed scenes, Nvidia introduced the RTX Mega Geometry, a new world system designed to boost Path Tracing performance in scenarios that demand high geometrical elements. According to Nvidia, Alan Wake 2 saw a 5-20% FPS boost along with approximately 300 MB of less VRAM usage using this technology.
Building further on the same principle, a new RTX Mega Geometry Foliage System is also coming to Witcher 3, which will enable millions of objects per scene with high frame rate owing to the partitioned and selectively updated ray-tracing structures.
RTX Remix levels up modding

Finally, for the modders, RTX Remix brings new community content and tooling, as announced by Nvidia at the FGC 2026. New Remix projects include NFS Carbon Remix & Clive Berker’s Undying, Portal Stories: Mel, and even Call of Duty 2 Remixed.
Remix will also get an Advanced Particle VFX update next month with support for dynamic animations and other complex effects. Nvidia is also releasing a Quake III demo, enabled with RTX and featuring 15 remastered levels.
