Millie Bobby Brown has undergone a name change.
The Stranger Things actress has taken on her husband Jake Bongiovi’s surname after the two tied the knot last May, making her legal name now Millie Bonnie Bongiovi. If you’re confused, don’t worry — so was her costar and bestie Noah Schnapp when asked to state her full name in a recent VT interview.
“It’s Millie Bonnie Brown,” Schnapp replied. When Brown hinted that her name had changed, he continued, “Millie Bonnie Brown Bongiovi.”

Not quite. “No,” Brown said.
Schnapp’s third attempt didn’t go much better. “Millie Bonnie Bobby Bongiovi,” the 21-year-old said as he began to laugh. “It’s so long! Millie Bonnie Bobby Bongiovi Brown.”
Eventually, Brown had to step in and help Schnapp out. “Just drop the ‘Brown!’ Drop the ‘Bobby,’ drop the ‘Brown.’ It’s just Millie Bonnie Bongiovi. Millie BonBon!”
Throughout her professional career, Brown has been credited under the name Millie Bobby Brown. In March, she revealed that her real name was actually Millie Bonnie Brown and that she’d replaced ‘Bonnie’ with ‘Bobby’ in her stage name for “s—s and giggles.”

Brown married Bongiovi, the son of musician Jon Bon Jovi, in May after three years of dating. The couple announced three months later that they had adopted their first child, a baby girl, together.
“This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption,” their joint social media post read in August. “We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy. And then there were three.”
Brown is currently starring on the ongoing fifth and final season of Stranger Things, with her character Eleven and her Hawkins pals focused on defeating the villainous Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) once and for all.

The beloved Netflix series is set to drop in three separate installments. The first was released on Nov. 26, with the following two set for Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve.
Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, Schnapp and Brown had a simple, yet effective response when asked what’s in store for the rest of the season.
“You thought Volume 1 was crazy…” Schnapp began. Brown concluded, “Get ready.”
