But Hansi Flick also has to keep the massive Champions League Round of 16 second leg against Newcastle in mind, which is why rotations are expected on Sunday. Lamine Yamal is not mentioned among the names who might be rested this weekend, however, even though the teenager missed training during the week.
Lamine’s form is so strong that starting him seems inevitable, especially given the expected rotations, but keeping the teenager fit should also be a priority. It’s certainly a tricky proposition for Flick, who wants a fresh team for Newcastle while also making sure his side is strong enough to win on Sunday, and Yamal’s presence certainly improves the chances of a victory against Sevilla.
