Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater Break Up After Three Years

Former Wicked co-stars and forever theater kids Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater have broken up after three years of dating, People reports. “It’s amicable, they gave lots of time and careful consideration and decided to go their separate ways,” a source told the outlet. “They are still friends and very supportive of one another. They have been quietly broken up for several months.” The two first met on the set of Wicked and began dating shortly after their split from their spouses in 2023. They’ve kept a low profile throughout their relationship, with a few Disney dates sprinkled in, so much so that the public speculated at the end of last year if they were still together.

The most important part of a breakup is finding a way to keep yourself busy, and thankfully, both Grande and Slater have a lot going on at the moment. Slater wrote and starred in the off-Broadway play Marcel on the Train earlier this year and was nominated for a Drama League award. Grande just kicked off her Eternal Sunshine world tour in Oakland this past weekend and is weeks away from the release of her new album, Petal. There’s no better way to heal a broken heart.
