Apple has unveiled the AirPods Max 2, its next-generation premium over-ear headphones, featuring improved noise cancellation, enhanced audio quality, and new AI-driven capabilities. The device is priced at ₹67,900 in India and will be available from March 25.
Powered by the H2 chip, the headphones deliver up to 1.5x better Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), effectively blocking external noise such as traffic and aircraft sounds. Apple also promises richer audio with a high dynamic range amplifier and improved computational audio.
The AirPods Max 2 support 24-bit, 48 kHz lossless audio via USB-C, offering superior sound quality and reduced latency for music, gaming, and professional use. Features like Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness, and Voice Isolation enhance everyday listening and call clarity.
A standout addition is Live Translation, powered by Apple Intelligence, enabling real-time language communication. Users can also control Siri through simple head gestures.
Designed with sustainability in mind, the headphones use recycled materials across components. While packed with advanced features, experts note the premium pricing may limit affordability compared to competing products.
