Aamir Khan celebrated his 61st birthday on March 14 with a small gathering at his home in Mumbai. The actor’s celebration drew attention online after videos showed his current partner, ex-wives and children coming together for the occasion.
The intimate celebration included Aamir’s current girlfriend Gauri Spratt, his first wife Reena Dutta, his second wife Kiran Rao, and his children Junaid Khan, Ira Khan and Azad Rao Khan. A video from the evening went viral online after former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan shared a clip from the celebration.

In the video posted by Irfan Pathan, Aamir Khan is seen cutting his birthday cake while those present cheer for him. The actor then distributes the first pieces of cake among his family members. He feeds the first slice to his son Azad, followed by his daughter Ira, and then Gauri Spratt. Sharing the video, Irfan Pathan also wrote a birthday message for the actor and praised Ira Khan’s work in the mental health space.

Family members spotted leaving the party
Apart from the cake-cutting moment, several short videos from the evening also surfaced on paparazzi pages. In one clip, Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt are seen stepping out together. When photographers request them to pose, the two smile and briefly stop for pictures. Another video shows Reena Dutta and Junaid Khan leaving the venue after the celebration.

Actor Vicky Kaushal was spotted attending the celebration. Riteish Deshmukh arrived with his wife Genelia D’Souza, while film producer Ritesh Sidhwani was also seen among the guests.
Aamir Khan is currently busy with work on his upcoming project. According to a source close to the actor, he is focused on the post-production of Ek Din, which stars his son Junaid Khan and actor Sai Pallavi. The source said, “The 61st birthday is a little different for Aamir Khan this year. Despite choosing a celebration, the superstar is completely tied up with the post-production work for Ek Din. The film is getting closer to the release and he is deeply involved in every detail of the film, which is keeping his schedule right.”
Aamir Khan’s upcoming films
Aamir Khan is producing Ek Din, a romantic drama featuring Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi, which is scheduled to release in theatres on May 1.
He is also backing another film, Lahore 1947, which is expected to arrive in cinemas on August 13.
