The clip invited massive trolling, even as his Instagram following unexpectedly surged to over 4.96 lakh. After issuing a public apology, Sofik has now returned with a fresh video of himself dancing to a trending Bengali track.

It appears Sofik is attempting to move past the controversy and resume his usual content routine. Just two days after apologising, he posted a new reel where he can be seen dancing to a Bengali song. The post, however, drew mixed reactions—while a section of his followers cheered him on, others criticised him, reminding him of the viral clip.
Sofik SK Breaks Silence on Viral MMS Scandal with Girlfriend
Earlier, in his apology video, Sofik addressed the MMS that went viral. Speaking in Bengali, he explained that the clip was recorded over a year ago and insisted he had changed since then. According to him, a close friend—who had access to both his and his girlfriend’s phones—retrieved the video and used it to repeatedly blackmail them.
He shared that he eventually distanced himself from this friend, which allegedly led the latter to upload the clip online. Sofik added that he never imagined someone he treated like a brother would betray him in such a way.
Sofik SK Shares Proof of His Claims
In the video, he went on to provide “proof” by sharing screenshots, a short clip of the friend in question, and a few voice notes. He clarified that he never had the video on his own device and strongly denied accusations of leaking it for publicity. With folded hands, he asked his followers for forgiveness and urged people to stop circulating the clip further.
