Queen Letizia looked as resplendent as ever at the weekend as she welcomed Pope Leo XIV to Spain. The royal was pictured alongside her husband, King Felipe VI, and their daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia, to officially welcome the Pope to the Royal Palace in Madrid.
During a Holy Mass led by Pope Leo XIV in the Plaza de Cibeles in Madrid, Letizia chose to wear a breathtaking white dress by Self-Portrait. The royal invoked her rare royal privilege called “privilège du blanc” – she is one of the few women allowed to wear white to meet the Pope, as she is Queen of a Catholic country.
