Bollywood actor Aamir Khan is getting married for the third time to Gauri Spratt next month. He turned 61 this year. Khan was first married to Reena Dutta from 1986 to 2002. He then got married to filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005 and the couple announced its divorce in 2021. The star then introduced his new partner Gauri Spratt to the media at his 60th birthday bash last year.

In an interview with Variety India, the actress was quoted saying, “What is wrong with marrying at 60? Robert de Niro has been married twice and is now in a relationship (with partner Tiffany Chen), with whom he shares a daughter born in 2023. They had a child when he was more than 80 years old. Happiness in a marriage is not about age. I got married when Gulzar was almost 40.”

Gulzar added, “I am not in touch with the goings-on in the film industry, nor have I worked with Aamir Khan. But I do know he is a very sincere person. And I love the way he has maintained his friendship with his two wives (Reena Dutta and Kiran Rao) even after the marriage. It says a lot about him.”

Khan is getting married to Spratt in a private ceremony on July 5.

The news about his new relationship spread like wildfire and the megastar’s sister Nikhat Khan, who also featured in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, expressed her happiness for her brother and sent her good wishes.

“I am very happy for both of them and wish them happiness,” said Nikhat while talking to ETimes.

But netizens noticed how Gauri has deleted her social media account post their relationship going viral.

“I thought it would be a nice occasion for you all to meet her, besides we won’t have to keep hiding. She met Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan last night,” Khan said.

“She is from Bengaluru, and we knew each other for 25 years. But we connected a year-and-half ago. She happened to be in Mumbai and we met accidentally, we kept in touch, and then it all happened organically,” the actor said.
