Mark Herras’ wife, Nicole Donesa, has revealed that both of their children have officially been granted dual citizenship in the United States and the Philippines.
Donesa shared the news on Instagram on Friday, May 29, saying that their youngest child, whom they fondly call Mija, successfully obtained her US passport and dual citizenship on the former’s birthday.
“Who would have thought our Bunso Mija would successfully get her Blue Passport and Dual Citizenship on my Birthday? Hard work paid off, and my birthday wishes came true,” Donesa wrote.
The celebrity couple’s eldest child, Corky, had previously been granted dual citizenship.
“Both of our babies are Dual Citizens na. Good job to us. One of the best birthdays I’ve had yet,” she added.
In the comments section, a netizen asked whether Herras is also a dual citizen. Donesa responded, “[S]ave the best for last.”
The update comes weeks after Herras spoke about the possibility of relocating to the United States with his family. In an interview in April, the actor noted that Donesa is already a dual citizen.
During the same interview, Herras also addressed a viral video of himself crying on social media, clarifying that it stemmed from a marital issue between him and Donesa. He said they had since worked through their problems and were doing better.
Speculation about trouble in their marriage surfaced in February after fans noticed that the couple had unfollowed each other on Instagram.
Herras and Donesa welcomed their first child, Corky, in February 2021 before tying the knot in a civil ceremony later that year. Their second child, Mija, was born in June 2025. /ra
