Vivo X300 Ultra And X300 FE Launch Date Announced: What To Expect

Vivo has teased the X300 FE for the Indian market, confirming a May 6 launch and a May 14 sale date. The smartphone will arrive in an India-exclusive green finish and will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset, similar to its global variant. It is set to debut alongside the X300 Ultra, the brand’s camera-focused flagship, with both devices featuring external telephoto extenders for enhanced photography capabilities.

Vivo X300 FE brings a noticeable design shift compared to its predecessor, the X200 FE. The new model features a horizontal pill-shaped camera module with three camera cutouts, an LED flash, and ZEISS branding, replacing the older vertical layout with fewer sensors. This redesign signals a more refined and premium approach, aligning the device closer to flagship aesthetics.

The company has also confirmed support for an external ZEISS telephoto extender, similar to the accessory seen on the X300 Ultra. This suggests Vivo is expanding its modular camera approach across the lineup, allowing users to enhance zoom capabilities beyond the built-in hardware and positioning the X300 FE as a more versatile photography-focused device.

In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. It offers a triple rear camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera, all tuned with ZEISS optics. The device also packs a 6,500mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 40W wireless charging.

The Vivo X300 FE is expected to be priced between Rs 55,000 and Rs 75,000, with configurations likely including 12GB RAM paired with 256GB or 512GB storage. It is tipped to launch in India alongside the X300 Ultra on May 6, with sales expected to begin around May 14, making it one of the key premium smartphone launches in the coming weeks.
