OPPO unveils Find X9 Ultra and X9s in India with next-gen

OPPO India has announced the upcoming launch of two new premium smartphones—Find X9 Ultra and Find X9s—further strengthening its flagship portfolio in the country. The devices are set to debut in May 2026, expanding the Find X9 Series to four models, alongside the previously launched Find X9 and Find X9 Pro.

The move reflects OPPO’s continued focus on the premium smartphone segment in India, offering users a broader range of high-end devices with advanced imaging capabilities. With the addition of the new models, the Find X9 lineup will cater to varying user needs, from professional-grade photography to everyday content creation.

Goldee Patnaik, Head of Communications at OPPO India, said the response to the Find X9 Series has been positive, adding that the expansion aims to make advanced imaging technology more accessible. He emphasized that the new devices are designed to enhance flexibility and creativity, enabling users to capture and share content with ease.

Find X9 Ultra focuses on advanced imaging capabilities

Positioned as the top-tier model in the lineup, the Find X9 Ultra introduces OPPO’s next-generation imaging system developed in collaboration with Hasselblad. The device features the new Hasselblad Master Camera System, powered by OPPO’s LUMO Image Engine.

The system integrates advanced optics with computational imaging technologies to deliver consistent image quality across diverse shooting conditions. A key highlight is the 50MP 10x optical telephoto camera, designed to support long-range photography while maintaining detail and clarity.

The Find X9 Ultra is aimed at users who rely heavily on their smartphones for photography and video production, offering enhanced creative control and performance.

Find X9s brings flagship experience to wider audience

The Find X9s, meanwhile, is positioned as a more versatile flagship device, focusing on everyday usability and content creation. Built on the same imaging platform and Hasselblad partnership, it supports multiple photography scenarios, including portraits, landscapes, and social media content.

With this expansion, OPPO is reinforcing its commitment to delivering premium smartphone experiences across different user segments. The company is expected to announce pricing, availability, and detailed specifications closer to the official launch next month.
