Let’s rebuild with Ditto!
Tonight, on The Stevetendo Show, we’re jumping into the world of Pokemon Pokopia. This game is the Pokemon Company’s take on the cozy game, and it works very well. For those who don’t know, Pokemon Pokopia is a story set in the Kanto Region where the humans have vanished. Only the Pokemon remain, but the world is in disrepair. Luckily, Ditto is here to make everything better. Also lucky that we can transform into a human-like form that can learn Pokemon moves.
We’ll be able to better the world with every water gun, leafage, and rock smash we perform. I have been playing Pokemon Pokopia in my spare time, and my initial takeaway from it is that it’s a combination of Animal Crossing, Minecraft, and Pokemon. The building/crafting aspects from the likes of Animal Crossing and Minecraft, with the likes of Squirtle and Bulbasaur. Set to go live at 6 p.m. PDT/9 p.m. EDT, join The Stevetendo Show for the start of a Pokemon Pokopia playthrough. I haven’t decided if this will be a full playthrough or a one-off episode, so stay tuned!

Mario Day is this week, and you know The Stevetendo Show will be celebrating. It took me a little bit of time to figure out what game I was going to play for it. I was hit with inspiration as this week is also Super Mario RPG’s release anniversary, so it felt like a no-brainer! Super Mario RPG is one of my favorite games ever, and I never need a reason to play it. So in honor of Mario Day, we’re playing Super Mario RPG, so make sure to get there nice and early!
Keep coming up with new games that you’d love to see on The Stevetendo Show. If it’s on The Nintendo Switch 2 or Nintendo Switch 2 Online service, it could see a starring role in an upcoming Stevetendo episode. Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness will eventually release this month so expect a playthrough when that happens.
