The veteran actor remembered that as a young child, he had dropped out of his school, and his mother often expressed her wish for him to pass the SSLC exam to secure a government job in the railways. (Image: Instagram)

He said, “I went, and when I signed the documents, the first thing that came to mind was my father and mother. I was a school dropout, and my mother always said that if I had at least passed the SSLC, I could have gotten a government job. Becoming an MP at 71 felt like I finally fulfilled her dream.” (Image: Instagram)

Beyond personal satisfaction, the actor added that serving people has always been an aspiration, and he considers his parliamentary role an extension of his commitment to society.
