BJP’s Maharashtra legislative party is scheduled to meet on Monday to formally elect the next Chief Minister of the state. The meet will also decide the date and time of the swearing-in ceremony of the next CM.
Meanwhile, the Shiv Sena has said that it will support any CM that the BJP decides on to lead Maharashtra.
Shiv Sena in its mouthpiece ‘Saamna’ has said that whether it was Nitin Gadkari or Devendra Fadnavis, the party would support the leader who takes Maharashtra forward.
The article also said that Shiv Sena wants the state to have ‘Shiv Rajya’ and inspirational leadership.
As per reports the no concrete talks took place between the Shiv Sena and the BJP over government formation in Maharashtra at PM Narendra Modi’s tea party for NDA MPs yesyerday.
