While everyone is gearing up to see Akshay Kumar and John Abraham clash at the box-office on Independence Day, there’s a third film in the race too! Hollywood hunks Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt have teamed up to give our ‘Desi Boys’ a tough fight at the box-office.
The battle for supremacy at the ticket windows, will be fought between ‘Mission Mangal’, ‘Batla House’ and the much talked about Quentin Tarantino’s ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’. The stalwart Hollywood filmmaker is bringing his A-game into play, with DiCaprio and Pitt at his disposal, creating some strong competition for Akshay and John.
‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ is Tarantino’s ninth film and has received exceptional reviews from critics and looks like the ace filmmaker has managed to weave his magic once again on the silver screen.
As per a report, the advance booking of Akshay’s film ‘Mission Mangal’ is reportedly expected to be around Rs 15 crore and could even touch Rs 20 crore, while the opening day figures of John’s ‘Batla House’ is depending heavily on the audience’s word of mouth – if it is positive then the film may end up with a healthy day one total. However, Tarantino’s ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ will mainly attract fans and fanatics of the ace filmmaker and the seasoned cast.
With this epic clash at the box-office this Friday, the entertainment quotient is high and only time will tell which film will be crowned as the box office king.
