After Hooda and Chavan, Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren today faced humiliation as the crowd at Ranchi booed him and chanted ‘Modi-Modi’ while he was addresses a public meeting with PM Modi during the inauguration of a power grid and transmission circuit and a gas pipeline project in Jharkhand.
Narendra Modi instantly signaled to the crowd to maintain calm. Apparently people wanted to hear Modi and were least interested in what their Chief Minister had to say. The crowd responded to Modi’s signal obediently and hushed up.
This is the third time that a Chief Minister has had to face such embarrassment.
Earlier CM Bhupinder Singh Hooda was booed by the crowd who was restless to hear Modi. Hooda was left red faced as he had to wind up his speech quickly.
Hooda felt so humiliated that he decided never to share stage again with the Prime Minister. Before Hooda, Maharashtra CM Prithviraj Chavan had also faced similar humiliation.
