BJP’s chief ministerial candidate Kiran Bedi on Saturday said that the current surveys on Delhi elections are based on early voting hours, and that she is confident that surveys based on voter turnout from 3-6pm will be in favour of the Bhartiya Janata Party.
Addressing a press conference, just after polling ended in Delhi, BJP’s CM candidate Bedi said, “I will be responsible for win or loss of the BJP. I’m grateful to BJP for reposing its faith in me and assigning me this responsibility.”
“I would like to thank people of Delhi for voting in large numbers” said Kiran Bedi after the polling ended at 6pm in Delhi.
Earlier in the day, BJP workers protested outside Aam Aadmi Party’s (AAP) office over alleged attack by Sanjay Singh & AAP workers.
“No doubt AAP is being supported by TMC, this is the kind of politics Mamata Banerjee has been pursuing in West Bengal” “said BJP candidate Nupur Sharma. “My sister was roughed up, our BJP worker was brutally beaten up at West Kidwai Nagar & now another worker has been beaten up” alleged Nupur Sharma.
However, reacting to BJP’s allegation AAP leader Sanjay Singh said “I did not indulge in any kind of fighting”
The results will be out on February 10.
