India’s most wanted man, underworld don Dawood Ibrahim is hiding in Pakistan, a report by Hindustan Times said on Saturday.
The latest revelation has come as a huge embarrassment to Pakistan, which has time and again denied that it’s sheltering Dawood Ibrahim, an international terrorist.
Indian security agencies are reportedly in possession of a telephone bill in the name of Dawood’ wife. The address mentioned on the bill is that of a house in Karachi.
“Indian Intelligence is ready with Dawood’s documents to prove that he is currently residing in Pakistan,” the Hindustan Times reported.
According to the report, Dawood Ibrahim (59), his wife Mehjabeen Shaikh, son Moeen Nawaz and daughters Mahrukh, Mehreen and Mazia are living in Karachi’s upscale neighbourhood Clifton Road.
The report also suggested that Indian National Security Advisor Ajit Doval will present the evidence of Dawood Ibrahim’s presence in Pakistan to his counterpart Sartaj Aziz.
The newspapers has also published picture which it claims is a recent picture of Dawood Ibrahim.
The startling revelation comes ahead of the National Security Advisor-level talks scheduled to be held on August 23-24 here.
If talks between NSAs of two countries go as scheduled on Monday, Doval may confront Aziz on Islamabad giving shelter to Dawood who has an Interpol red corner against him for his involvement in the 1993 Mumbai serial blasts that killed more than 257 and injured hundreds.
