Bigg Boss 9 runner up Rishabh Sinha has taken his first leap after the celebrity reality show. The 28-year-old has signed his first Bollywood movie as a hero, Ishq Vs Luv.
The dashing lad, who won everyone’s heart on Bigg Boss with his honesty, frankness and innocence, has been roped in to play the lead role in Ishq Vs Luv produced by Arsalaan Khan. Rishabh will be paired up with model Afroz Khan in the film.
He confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I am doing this film. I know Afroz and the makers since quite some time. We are good friends and everything is going smoothly.”
Rishabh who was earlier seen in TV series like Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera and Qubool Hai and reality show Splitsvilla, became a household name after his successful stint in Bigg Boss 9. He entered the celebrity reality show as a wild card contestant and went on to become the first runner up. Initially dismissed as a weak contestant, Rishabh emerged as the strongest contender of the title, by the time the show came to an end. However, Prince Narula eventually won the show.
Post Bigg Boss, Rishabh was flooded with offers from television and film industry. He was also touted to play the grown up king Ashoka in Colors’ Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat but the deal didn’t materialise.
Now, Rishabh will be soon seen singing songs and serenading a beautiful girl on the big screen. However, Ishq Vs Luv is not his first Hindi film. He made his big screen debut in Subhash Ghai’s Kaanchi (2014) in a negative role.
