Bhumi Pednekar, who made her debut in the 2015 release Dum Laga Ke Haisha, has five films in the pipeline: Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare, Saand Ki Aankh, Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship, Bala and Pati Patni Aur Woh. In career spanning seven years, Bhumi has created her own space in Bollywood. But whenever the actress has been asked if she is dating anyone in or outside the industry, she has always come up with the cliche, “I’m in a relationship with my work.”
However, looks like Bhumi has now made some time for love. The Dum Laga Ke Haisha actress is apparently dating actor Jackky Bhagnani, say reports.
There is a romance brewing between Bhumi and Jackky, claims a report in Mumbai Mirror.
“The lady exits and gets into a car that doesn’t belong to her. It belongs to Jackky Bhagnani. They are among the newest couples in movie town,” reads the report.
During her session in Bhopal, when Bhumi was asked if she is seeing someone, the actress said, “I know this is a cliché, but I’m in a relationship with my work.”
Bhumi’s Dum Laga Ke Haisha co-star Ayushmann Khurrana, however, spilled the beans on her love life. He said that she is pro at dating and he also shared an advice for men who wish to date her.
“Patient in bed is a must-have quality,” the actor, who shared screen space with Bhumi in Dum Laga Ke Haisha and Shubh Mangal Saavdhan, said on Neha Dhupia’s chat programme some time ago.
Bhumi Pednekar will now be seen opposite Ayushmann Khurrana in the upcoming film Bala. Apart from Bhumi and Ayushmann, Amar Kaushik’s directorial venture also stars Yami Gautam, Saurabh Shukla, Javed Jaffrey and Seema Pahwa in pivotal roles.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan, Bala will hit the screens on November 22 this year. The film deals with a guy who has to deal with premature baldness. Ayushmann will play the lead character in Bala and Bhumi will play his love interest.
Meanwhile, Jackky Bhagnani, who made his Bollywood debut in Kal Kissne Dekha in 2009, was last seen in Nitin Kakkar’s 2018 film Mitron. He has worked in films like Faltu, Ajab Gazabb Love, Rangrezz, Youngistaan, Welcome 2 Karachi, Dil Junglee, Welcome To New York and a few others.
