Anand Parbat murder case: Delhi Police plans notice to CM Arvind Kejriwal for misleading ads

Following the post mortem report of 19 year old girl who was killed on July 16 in the Delhi’s Anand Parbat area, the Delhi Police is planning to send a notice to the state government to take down its misleading ad.

The advertisements, which have been on air from Monday, say -19 year old victim received 32 wounds to her body but the autopsy report of the victim said that she died due to profuse bleeding caused by eight stab injuries.

The post-mortem report of the victim revealed that she had received four stab wounds to her lower body, and other wounds were incisions to her forearms, neck and upper body.

The advertisement where CM Arvind Kejriwal calls upon PM Narendra Modi to handover the law and order department to Delhi government, has become the latest flash point in an ongoing tussle between the state government and the lieutenant governor over control of the Capital.

Delhi Police do not report to chief minister Arvind Kejriwal due to Delhiā€™s unique position as the national capital.
